End of month hexipuff count - November

I thought it could be interesting and help me keep track if I posted how many hexipuffs I manage to knit in the month, plus I love looking at other peoples hexis as I find it quite inspiring, so hopefully people like looking at mine too!
Oh and if you don't know why I am knitting hexipuffs, it is because I am trying to knit my own Beekeeper's Quilt, in which I will need over 300 puffs!

So this month I managed to make:

Not bad considering this is my first month and I have had to learn how to make them.

All my puffs where knitted with yarn I got from The Knitting Goddess. These ones are knitted from the October multi colour mini skein set.
Each mini skein I have managed to get 3 hexipuffs out of, and in the October mini skein set you get 7 mini skeins for £10, not bad!

Of course everyone always has one hexipuff they like the best, so here is my favourite from the month:

It's just all my favourite colours in one tiny piece of knitting and it turned out a really nice shape too.
I'm such a sucker for pastel colours!

My aim for next month is to knit 10 hexipuffs, I don't think that's too ambitious. I would love to do more, but this is my commuter knitting, not my main project.

Hexipuffs knitted in November: 7
Total hexipuff count: 7

  1. I've never actually heard of this kind of blanket before but I bet it would be amazingly warm! xo

    1. Yes! My boyfriend and I have also talked about passing it on to our children as well, hoping I am making a family heirloom here! Best be after the time and effort it will take hah. x

  3. I seriously love that blanket design, someday I hope to knit my own. Until then I'll admire yours! I'd say that you have made excellent progress for the first month too. I've decided for my granny square blanket that I'm going to knit one square everyday no matter what, that way maybe someday I'll finish it! When you finish this project it will definitely be family heirloom worthy.

    1. Thank you :) A square a day? That's pretty ambitious!

Blankets are so much work but definitely worth it.

  4. Yay, your puffs are coming along so well! It's so motivational to see other knitters' progress on this blanket. I'm trying to knit at least one puff per day, but with holiday knitting, it's had to take a bit of a back seat lately. Can't wait to see more of your blanket!

    1. Thank you :) Ah I wish I could do a puff a day, I'm just so slow and get distracted by other stuff.
I love the puffs though, and I love changing the colours every 3 puffs so I don't get bored.

  5. How do you do hexipuffs with multiple colours in one?
